BOARD along with its Business Partner, Altius Consulting, say that they have won a new contract to provide New England Seafood with financial planning and forecasting software. New England Seafood is a supplier of fish and seafood to the UK’s leading supermarkets and wholesalers and has a turnover of £50m.
New England Seafood’s current business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management (CPM) systems applications did not support rolling forecasts critical to the business and the company had to resort to Excel as a bridging tool. Choosing BOARD will enable them to align their systems and give them a unified approach to BI & CPM, all in a single product.
Initially the implementation, carried out by Altius Consulting will focus on 12 -24 month rolling sales forecast. Once complete the project is likely to extend to key account and production planning, historical analysis, reporting and profitability modeling.
