Cartesis announces Hyperion migration offer

12th March 2007

Cartesis has announced what it calls a "competitive migration offer for Hyperion customers concerned about the future stability of their mission-critical performance management applications." With the "Change is Best" offer, financial executives can take advantage of what Cartesis describes as a "seamless migration" to Cartesis Finance and an aggressive discount on Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Referring to Oracle's acquisition of Hyperion Crispin Read, Chief Marketing Officer, Cartesis said, "We recognise that industry consolidation can often leave customers feeling orphaned. Business performance management has become too mission critical for financial executives to risk their solution getting lost in a quagmire of software acquisitions. By offering a stable, independent alternative, we want financial executives to know that they can depend on our functionally-rich, high performance applications for years to come."

Cartesis' "Change is Best" offer includes, a 'Proof of concept' application based upon organisational needs, a project plan with key success factors, benefits and ROI together with savings of up to 50 per cent off the SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition, CAL or Standard Edition license.
