Clarity Systems chosen by Knight Frank to improve HR planning practices

1st April 2007

Knight Frank LLP ("Knight Frank"), the commercial and residential property is rolling out Clarity 6 to over 300 users as a single integrated solution for forecasting and planning. Following an extensive review process that evaluated multiple CPM systems, Knight Frank concluded that Clarity 6 was uniquely able to integrate with its existing Essbase reporting application and deal with its HR planning issues.

Prior to implementing Clarity 6 , Knight Frank was using an Excel based system as its planning tool, which required significant manual intervention and did not provide senior management with timely access to financial planning data. With this system, it was unable to maintain consistent information and control the planning process.

" Clarity Systems has helped our department managers achieve true ownership of their budgets and forecasts and allowed our finance team to focus on analysis rather than preparation of information," said Rupert Hickman, Group Accountant, Knight Frank. "With Clarity 6, all relevant finance and management staff have real time access to planning information with in-depth analysis. It allows us to manage our resources for improved and more efficient decision-making. "

Since deploying Clarity 6, Knight Frank has transformed its planning processes, providing the company with a strong return on investment from the initial implementation.

"Clarity Systems' goal is to move clients to benefits realisation as quickly as possible," said Paul Houghton , UK Sales Director, Clarity Systems. "By providing a unified solution for financial consolidations, budgeting, reporting and business intelligence, Knight Frank could identify not only the short term benefits for its planning, but also the long term benefits of expanding its application across the organisation with minimal additional development cost. The initial and long term return on investment will be substantial."

Knight Frank says that it plans to deploy Clarity 6 across the organisation and will be implementing further management and group reporting in the near future.
