Clarity Systems enters UK performance management market and wins The Irish Dairy Board contract
28th August 2006 Irish Dairy Board, a major international exporter of Irish dairy products, has selected Clarity 6 software, from Clarity Systems, a provider of corporate performance management (CPM) solutions which has recently commenced operations in the UK . The Board will use the software for financial consolidation, planning, and reporting of key performance indicators.
Clarity Systems, which has a large client base across North America , told FSN that it is targeting companies in the financial services and retail sectors, especially those using the Essbase multi-dimensional database. The business will be headed by Paul Houghton, formerly of Cognos and Adaytum.
The Irish Dairy Board operates on a global scale with subsidiaries in both the European and American markets. This corporate structure required the Board to find an integrated solution that could monitor the financial performance of not only its operations in Dublin but also its subsidiaries around the world and consolidate this information into reliable data.
“In bringing Clarity 6 into the Irish Dairy Board's operations, we are acquiring a unified solution for global deployment. Starting with financial consolidation and reporting, followed by planning and forecasting, the Irish Dairy Board will tangibly benefit from Clarity 6 as it deploys more efficient management processes” said Conor Crowley, Manager Financial Projects at IDB.
“We are pleased to have the Irish Dairy Board select our software for its performance management initiative,” said Frank Pizzolato, CEO of Clarity Systems, “The scale of Irish Dairy Board's operation, both in the UK and internationally, is a strong testament to Clarity Systems' ability to execute globally.”
