| GSL selects OutlookSoft to accelerate Fast Close | |
| 30th July 2007 GSL, a support services, facilities management and business solutions company has selected OutlookSoft 5 to manage its group budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes in a single unified system across the company's global operations. OutlookSoft says the new software using OutlookSoft's 5's customised Business Process Flow (BPF) capability will significantly enhance business processes, reduce reporting time and improve business analysis and insight. This will mean more time can be spent on analysing company data and identifying industry opportunities and changes. Phil Legard, Group Finance Controller at GSL, explains: “One of the main aims when revamping our reporting system was to improve the process of inputting data. Previously we had spent long periods capturing data and delivering reports, which left a limited amount of time for analysis. OutlookSoft will enable us to implement a solution that will significantly improve business processes and reduce reporting time to more confidently analyse and predict both current and future performance. “The expanding nature of our business means there is a greater call for automation, consistency and forecasting capabilities. OutlookSoft will be deployed across our global network, including the UK , Australia and South Africa , allowing us to manage and accurately forecast global budgetary requirements within one unified system. “We are very impressed with the potential of the OutlookSoft system and foresee wider opportunities to expand its uses into other non-financial, operational areas following the current implementation,” he added. |
