Outlook Soft Corporation, says that Mizuho International Plc, the London based Securities and Investment banking arm of The Mizuho Financial Group is using its software to manage its financial and operational reporting and budgeting. To-date, the annual budgeting process has been cut from eight to six weeks, and the monthly reporting process has been reduced by 33% to two weeks.
The new system is compatible with Mizuho's existing Blowfish encryption tool which has enabled the Bank to comply with critical security policies set out by Mizuho's risk control department to protect employee salary data. With the OutlookSoft solution fully-deployed, only employees with access codes are able to view this highly sensitive information. At the end of 2007 Mizuho intends to move Head Office consolidation and reporting to a more robust and efficient platform using OutlookSoft.
Jason Ralph, head of management reporting at Mizuho International Investment Bank comments: "The major difference between OutlookSoft and the other performance management software providers was the fact they took the time to understand what we really wanted to achieve and tailored a solution to specifically meet these needs-rather than just presenting a generic solution that would mean retraining employees and changing existing processes. In particular, we needed the performance management software to work with our Blowfish encryption tool. The resulting benefits that the OutlookSoft implementation has given the company have been very impressive."
The implementation process lasted just ten weeks, with OutlookSoft meeting all project deadlines set by the Mizuho team.
