July 31st 2012: PrecisionPoint Software is to be used in a major project to secure a stable foundation and support for the clean-up, maintenance and decommissioning of Sellafield.
Stobbarts Ltd commissioned PrecisionPoint Software in its’ bid to win this substantial 3 year Sellafield contract which draws together a range of services including civil engineering mechanical and design services, plant and lifting equipment hire and provision of mobile crane and rigging services.
Stobbarts Ltd has signed a Subscription agreement with PrecisionPoint that will help the company to achieve a greater understanding of their own financial progress and allow them to fulfill one of the key requirements of the Sellafield contract. The Stobbarts management team was impressed by PrecisionPoint’s ability to produce effective, accurate and comprehensive reporting of internal consumption and produce regular reports on project progress.
“We selected PrecisionPoint over its competitors after a rigorous selection process, due to the low risk subscription model and the fact that PrecisionPoint are exclusively a Business Intelligence for Microsoft Dynamics company. Over a number of years we have had various products that have failed to meet our expectations and are looking forward to utilising PrecisionPoint to provide better management information to our clients and stakeholders with regards to the status of their jobs on both an operations and financial basis.” said Robert Cooper, Finance Director, Stobbarts Ltd.
After conducting the research on behalf of Stobbarts to find a suitable Business Intelligence and reporting tool, Chris Rogan of Unleashed IT said “We have worked with many software tools in the past to provide reporting with various levels of success. PrecisionPoint have positioned themselves differently, by specialising solely on Business Intelligence for Microsoft Dynamics and providing that as a Managed Service where there is no reliance on any company in the middle to provide training, reports and support for their software. We were sufficiently impressed by both the uniqueness of the solution and the business model to begin a partnership with PrecisionPoint in order to promote them to our other Microsoft Dynamics clients.”
