Quantrix says it is developing a new online collaboration and reporting feature for its business modeling and analytics software solution. Quantrix Modeler, now enables users to develop models and share them via an online portal for increased collaboration.
The new model distribution and deployment capability will be rolled out with the next version of Quantrix Modeler, and will enable business and financial professionals to create multidimensional models, post them to an online portal, and share them with subscribers without requiring installation of Quantrix Modeler.
Users of Quantrix Modeler will be able to publish models to a Quantrix online server and generate a public or password-protected link. Users can invite colleagues, customers, prospects, vendors, or others to access a read-only view of the model. Viewers will be able to slice and dice or pivot multiple dimensions of any model and filter results by category.
“This exciting new feature will allow business and financial professionals to leverage the internet as a medium to quickly and conveniently share their models with a much broader audience, even those that do not have Quantrix Modeler installed on their desktops,” says Chris Houle, CEO, Quantrix. “Our new online portal will eliminate the ‘installed software’ barrier and make important models and analyses more readily accessible to select professionals or the general public.”
