Tagetik 4.0 chosen by Henkel Group for driver-based budgeting and planning

21st June 2012

Henkel Group has selected Tagetik 4.0 and Tagetik’s distributor in Germany, pmOne  AG, to implement a new enterprise planning system. The software will optimize the company’s current planning processes, which incorporate approximately 1,000 employees worldwide.

Tagetik 4.0 is a performance management solution designed to unify all of an organisation’s processes from strategic and operational planning to disclosure management and reporting. Tagetik’s open architecture has only one database, one set of data, and one calculation engine and is deployable on-premise or in the Cloud.

Prior to choosing the software, Henkel designed a driver-based model that will expedite the planning cycle, reduce budgeting granularity and simplify the process of consolidating results at the group level.

“During the selection process, pmOne understood our requirements the best and successfully implemented them with Tagetik as part of a pilot project,” explains Christoph Wenner, Corporate Director for Subsidiary Controlling & Corporate Planning at Henkel. “What impressed us most is that the software can unify the planning and budgeting process throughout our company while accounting for the individual needs of specific divisions and departments. In addition, we can use Tagetik to flexibly execute our driver-based concept and run what-if simulations on various levels.”
