Version One strengthens relationship with Oracle partners
13th February 2006
Version One the document management and imaging software provider, has formed a strategic alliance with Praktis Solutions, to respond to what it says is an increasing demand for document imaging systems from Oracle E-Business Suite users.

Praktis customers can now take full advantage of Version One's portfolio of 'paperless office' solutions, which are integrated into the Oracle E-Business Suite. Version One says its solutions enable all in-coming and out-going business documents, for example, invoices, purchase orders and despatch notes to be electronically stored, retrieved, managed and delivered directly from Oracle. This says Version One provides significant savings, in time, money and space.

David Callaghan, Vice President for Channels and Solutions, Oracle Corporation UK and Ireland says, "This new alliance is testimony to the close collaboration between Oracle and Version One, and I'm delighted that a growing number of Oracle Partners and customers are reaping the benefits of Version One's solutions, which are addressing important e-business needs."

Tony Bray, Director of Version One added, "As an Oracle Partner for document management and imaging, we have seen increasing numbers of Oracle E-Business Suite users demanding document imaging functionality. This has led us to increase our partnering strategy to work more closely with Oracle Partners. The alliance with Praktis is an exciting new development, which will allow even more Oracle E-Business Suite users access to our suite of document management and imaging solutions. These solutions provide a multitude of customer benefits including significant savings of time and money and a fast R.O.I., which is typically less than six months."
