Version One announces new release of its document management software.

Version One has this week announced a new release of its document management product suite. Release 2.2 (R2.2), says the company, will offer a complete modernisation of Version One's paperless office solutions.

Customers will benefit from new features including ‘one-click’ scanning and new ‘drag and drop’ manipulations of documents, which Version One says will save time and increase the product’s ease of use. R2.2 will also offer a brand new search tool, DbWebRetrieve, which will enable end-users to personally tailor their viewing experience, enabling them to view documents more quickly and efficiently. The new DbLogin function will also provide centralised user management and support for Windows logins.  

R2.2 is multi-lingual and will be used in more than 30 countries. The product suite will run on the latest platforms including Windows 7 and MS Server 2008 R2 .
