27th January 2010

Document management and imaging software author, Version One has announced its integration into Sage’s most recently launched enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for organisations worldwide – Sage ERP X3. The integration is the latest in a long line of Version One integrations into accounting and ERP systems.

Sage ERP X3 launched worldwide in January 2010 supports mid-sized organisations’ accounting, purchasing, sales inventory, customer relationship and manufacturing operations. and can be provided in a choice of languages, currencies, enterprises, locations and legislations.

With the integration of Version One into Sage ERP X3, users are provided with access to Version One’s document management and imaging solutions, adding value to the system’s existing functionality. Sage ERP X3 users can now electronically create, deliver, store, access, authorise, manage and process their business documents directly from their ERP system, significantly reducing the paper-based circulation, filing, management and processing of paper documents (invoices, statements, customer correspondence etc.).

Julian Buck, General Manager of Version One says, “We have a long and very successful history of integrating our solutions into Sage accounting and ERP systems and look forward to adding Sage ERP X3 to our integrations portfolio. As a truly global and ‘best of breed’ ERP, Sage ERP X3 is the ideal system for our solutions to integrate into.”

Buck adds, “This latest integration perfectly complements our International business strategy, especially in Africa and America where we are expanding our footprint in response to increasing demand for integrated and functionally-rich document management solutions.”
