ClusterSeven releases version 6.0 of Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager

2nd July 2010

ClusterSeven has announced the release of Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager 6.0, the latest version of the company’s flagship solution for managing spreadsheets more efficiently.  Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager monitors spreadsheets, verifies spreadsheet integrity and alerts users to unauthorized changes so that data can be reliably used for business decisions.

The company says a wide variety of new benefits have been added. These include dynamic discovery, diagrammatic reporting and new alerts and security features.  “Discovery and Risk Checking” have been further enhanced in the new release. Users now get even greater flexibility in how they may view and resolve the risks associated with their spreadsheets. Users can see their spreadsheet risk in the form of a workbook, website or PDF report and benefit from automated inventory reviews. In addition to the many out-of-the-box checks, ClusterSeven says it is easy to set up new rules that are specifically relevant to the business.

Other upgrades include new security and protection enhancements. These features enable businesses to see at a glance the holes in their operations and risk management where time will be wasted and error or fraud is most likely to occur.

“Version 6.0 offers enhanced visualization of our automated workflow, which enables more spreadsheet and ‘flat file’ processes to be accelerated and monitored, completely eliminating slow, expensive and error-prone manual activities,” said Ralph Baxter, CEO of ClusterSeven. “In addition, our advances in dynamic discovery mean that users can now combine visual maps of data flows within their organizations against control vulnerabilities such as risk and security. These audit analytics are a great boost for internal auditors and CISOs.”
