COA Solutions is to disappear as a brand following its acquisition by Advanced Computer Software Group earlier this year. The main focus of the Group will become the health care market as COA Solutions, to be known as Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) is subsumed into one of three trading divisions of the enlarged software Group.
The three new divisions will be called Advanced Business Solutions, Advanced Health & Care and Advanced 365 (Managed Services).
Advanced Business Solutions will continue to provide integrated business applications and services to public and private sector organisations. Its portfolio of solutions will comprise core financial management, procurement, human resource and payroll systems, integrated with a range of collaborative, document management and business intelligence solutions. Although part of the Advanced Business Solutions division, document management company, Version One, will be retain its separate identity as it did under the old COA organisation.
Commenting on the re-branding Vin Murria, Chief Executive of Advanced says, “With 88% of NHS Trusts taking one or more of our products, we are poised to become the leading IT provider to the health and care markets.”
The main focus of Advanced will remain on the health and care markets, says the company although commercial customers within the Advanced Business Solutions and Advanced Managed Services divisions, which together represent 35% of total revenues, will continue to be key to the group’s growth strategy.
