eBuyer signs CedarOpenAccounts to support growth plans
11th September 2006 CedarOpenAccounts (COA) has won a contract with eBuyer, the UK online supplier of consumer electronics and computer products, to provide a financial management software and document management and workflow solution that will support its rapid growth plans and help the company to drive efficiency through its business processes.
With a turnover in excess of £200 million, eBuyer required a more advanced system than its existing Sage Line 100. eBuyer chose COA's OpenAccounts Financials and eBis workflow from COA's Smart Business Suite, for its ability to provide a robust platform to support its expansion and improve the visibility of reporting throughout its business. eBuyer will also use a fully integrated document management system with the new financial management solution.
Mark Wood, financial director of eBuyer comments, “COA's OpenAccounts Financials will give us the platform to expand our business without increasing the cost of the finance function whilst at the same time improving the speed of reporting. The OpenAccounts package had a clear advantage over its competitors in the ease with which it could be integrated into our stock management and front-end web systems. The eBis workflow will dramatically reduce the amount of paperwork circulating within the office and improve the efficiency of invoice processing.”
“The COA team has demonstrated a great understanding of eBuyer's requirements and has provided us with a highly competitive solution,” continued Wood.
The go-live date for COA's Financials and the OCR document management solution is timed for January 2007.
