Ecofys has selected Agresso Business World from UNIT4. The research and consultancy organisation for renewable energy and energy savings will implement all modules of UNIT4’s Agresso solution, namely Finance, Procurement, Projects and Human Resource Management.
Agresso will replace a legacy system that was unable to keep up with the changes demanded by Ecofys which focuses on international projects for governments, industrial clients, energy companies, NGOs and housing corporations. Ecofys selected Agresso Business World because of the ability to easily adapt the system to meet the requirements of ongoing business and operational change including cash flow forecasting.
Ecofys, which is headquartered in the Netherlands and employs 250 people plans to begin the implementation of Agresso Business World in the Netherlands followed by the United Kingdom and Germany.
“One reason for us opting for UNIT4’s Agresso software was its great flexibility,” said IT coordinator Nicole Hulst. “We plan to expand into various countries so it is important that we can make changes to the system ourselves without additional IT support. The workflow functionality within Agresso Business World finally settled the manner.”
