UNIT4, the provider of ERP and financial management software (Agresso & CODA) says it has signed a strategic deal with Politidirektoratet (The National Police Directorate) in Norway to supply its new UNIT4 Business Analytics solution. The contract was won in partnership with Deloitte.
The newly announced solution runs on the technology that was acquired by UNIT4 from Norwegian company called Exie late last year. This, says UNIT4 has the potential to “disrupt” the traditional performance management market through its unique ‘pay-as-you-use’ model delivered online via its apps store. Politidirektoratet wants to drive process improvements and develop the organization strategically and has developed a new budget and financial model based on Business Analytics and best practice methodology put forward by the project team. The solution put forward by UNIT4 and Deloitte delivers all the functionality and flexibility to closely manage performance organization-wide.
UNIT4 says that its Business Analytics solution delivers targeted, people-driven, performance management apps designed to meet key challenges, opportunities or risks and allows every employee to quickly and easily understand targets, pinpoint problems, find answers and confidently make informed decisions – in a collaborative way.
UNIT4 recently announced a fresh approach to addressing enterprise needs in performance management in contrast to what it says are the traditional expensive and complex Corporate Performance Management solutions. “UNIT4 has designed a suite of apps that let customers address virtually every business analytics scenario,” said Ton Dobbe, VP Product Management. “The apps will be offered via an online store on a pay-as-you-use basis. They will be turnkey and are offered with bundled professionals services of five, 10 or 20 days. Since the applications are integrated with UNIT4’s Agresso Business World ERP and Coda Financials solutions, a change made in one application automatically flows to the other applications. In contrast to the traditional expensive and complex Corporate Performance Management solutions on the market, our approach is simple, fast, no risk, and very affordable.”
