Claverley Group selects CODA 2control consolidation software from CODA
2nd July 2007
Claverley Group Limited has purchased CODA 2control Consolidation, formerly known as OCRA. Claverley Group has selected modules for centralised reporting, cash flow reporting and cash planning. These will be integrated with the company's existing ERP system and made available to ten users around the organisation.

Claverley Group Ltd is a Midlands based publishing group which includes the Express & Star (now in its second century), the Shropshire Star, Press Computer Systems, and Precision Colour Printing. In 2004 Claverley acquired the Guiton Group Ltd in the Channel Islands which incorporates the Jersey Evening Post, Guernsey Press, Itex Group and CIN Group. In addition it owns and operates three local commercial radio stations (The Wyre, The Severn and Telford FM).

CODA's consolidation software can be configured for a variety of reporting, analytic and cash management applications. Claverley Group evaluated a number of market leading products during their selection process before settling on CODA's offering.  Simon Latore, Project Manager for Claverley Group, said: “We wanted a solution that combined reputation, financial domain expertise and new technology that would address both our business objectives and our infrastructure and future-proofing requirements. It also needed to be simple to set-up and maintain. All the products we considered had their strengths, but CODA's was the one that met our main requirements, which were ease and speed of implementation.”

CODA and Claverley Group signed their contract in May 2007.
