ClusterSeven joins Microsoft Development Advisory Council
2nd July 2007
ClusterSeven has been invited to join the Microsoft Development Advisory Council (DAC), a body which includes companies that can make a strategic difference to the Microsoft customer base through technical and philosophical perspectives on the Microsoft Office System development process.  ClusterSeven's participation on the Microsoft Development Advisory Council complements the acceptance of ClusterSeven as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for 2007/2008.

ClusterSeven is known for its capability in enterprise spreadsheet management. While a number of companies have developed spreadsheet monitoring solutions that consume desktop resources, ClusterSeven works from the backend. It boasts a non-intrusive, environment that assists companies in their goal to take control of vital, unstructured corporate information. ClusterSeven's rapid growth is due to the technology's applicability in capital markets where spreadsheet usage is extreme and any error is too costly to risk. However, the product also provides significant benefits to a broader range of financial and other markets.

“ClusterSeven has consistently contributed to the best practices of the Microsoft development process,” said Craig Saint-Amour, U.S. capital markets industry solutions director, Microsoft Corp. “ClusterSeven's invitation to the Council illustrates its unique value-add to the Microsoft Office System around spreadsheet compliance and we are very happy to have the company's participation.”

By participating on the DAC, ClusterSeven will attain a greater understanding of future versions of the Microsoft Office System. “This education will help ClusterSeven develop products with even greater architectural and functional elegance where there is a dependency on the Microsoft suite. Ultimately, customers will benefit.” said Ralph Baxter, vice-president of product marketing, ClusterSeven, “While ClusterSeven today provides valuable complementary enhancements for Microsoft Excel users, participation on the Council can only aid us in expanding our reach.”
