Eurotech an international manufacturer of Nano PCs and high-performance computers has upgraded to Tagetik 3.0 Enabled by Microsoft SharePoint. Eurotech. The solution will be used for statutory and management consolidation and corporate reporting. The company has been a Tagetik customer since 2006.
“We decided to leverage the new features in Tagetik 3.0 Enabled by Microsoft SharePoint to eliminate external spreadsheets and further simplify consolidation and quarterly statutory reporting while improving the integration with our other Microsoft Business Intelligence tools,” explains Sandro Barazza, Chief Financial Officer at Eurotech. “We have been able to unify our entire consolidation and reporting processes – from collecting and adjusting data to making intercompany reconciliations and financial reports – within a single solution. In addition, we can now produce integrated corporate reporting, by collecting annual budgets, quarterly forecasts as well as weekly and monthly actual data on sales, orders, assets and KPIs for the individual companies in our group.”

Eurotech, which already uses Microsoft technology, can now produce reports with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services starting from actual and budget data directly stored in Tagetik 3.0. And users throughout the group can quickly access and share business information via Microsoft SharePoint Server. “As a result, the benefits of this solution extend far beyond finance to support operational decision-making in sales and other departments,” added Vellutini.
