Sanoma Uitgevers B.V. has selected Trintech’s AssureNET GL software for financial process compliance. AssureNET GL is a component of Trintech's Unity platform, a suite of modular software that enables companies to meet their financial governance, risk management and compliance goals.
Trintech's AssureNET module automates account certification, managing the review, approval and certification of all account reconciliations for a company's accounting close process. AssureNET distributes and tracks progress on all tasks necessary for certification, automates reconciliation of GL accounts, enforces control structures, and facilitates creation of compliance documentation.
With almost 80 consumer magazines, about 180 websites, 15 mobile sites and all accompanying extensions and events Sanoma Uitgevers is the largest cross media publisher in the Netherlands. With all its media together Sanoma reaches about 90% of the Dutch population aged 13 and older.
Through a suite of software modules, Trintech's says that its Unity platform enables companies like Sanoma to increase the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting, reduce operational costs, shorten accounting cycle times, reduce the risk of material weaknesses and restatements, and fully comply with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
