dmg media unifies ‘order to cash’ proces with FinancialForce Accounting

dmg media, has selected FinancialForce Accounts Receivable to replace its existing accounting software system, consolidating functionality and streamlining the order-to-cash process.

dmg media, home to the Daily Mail, MailOnline, The Mail on Sunday, Metro and Wowcher, has implemented FinancialForce Accounts Receivable, a system compatible with the Salesforce App Cloud used by the group. 

 

 

 

FinancialForce Accounts Receivable ensures the opportunity to cash process is fast, efficient, accurate and optimizes cash flow. Invoices are created accurately the first time and posted in real time to the Accounts Receivable system where users have complete visibility to their customer’s credit standing alongside sales and service activity in a single location.

James Welsh, Group Finance and Operations Director, dmg media said: “We are increasingly using Salesforce App Cloud as the standard tool across our business functions, and we have selected FinancialForce as an accounting solution on the platform. This allows us to bring our systems into one place without reworking our financial processes.” 

The switch will enable dmg media to create invoices from Salesforce opportunities in a single click, set credit terms both globally and by customer account and automatically calculate due dates and settlement discounts. It will also help the group to automatically calculate payments to invoices based on document references and amounts and to see a 360-degree view of customer’s orders, invoices, payments, deliveries, opportunities and cases in a single location.
