Insurance company NSIA selects Agresso from UNIT4 for consolidation of systems across 11 African countries

3rd March 2011

AH Consulting (AHC) and UNIT4, have announced a major landmark deal with insurance company NSIA Groupe in Ivory Coast for the implementation of Agresso Business World ERP software. Agresso will replace a number of standalone accounting systems across the different group companies.

Agresso’s software will create efficiencies by enabling all 11 operations in different African countries to work with a centralised application for processing all financial transactions and managing group reporting. At the end of the implementation, all NSIA Groupe companies will be integrated through a single application hub at its headquarters in Abidjan.

“We chose UNIT4’s Agresso software because we wanted a more immediate global view of group operations. Its ability to mirror unexpected changes in the business, as well as the overall lower total cost of ownership it will deliver us were the deciding factors,” said Mr. Ange Kacou Dagou, IT Director and Project Sponsor. “The implementation by AH Consulting will help deliver the value for money we expect from our investment in Agresso, and will allow us to fully utilise the functionality of the application in our complex group operations across 11 countries throughout Africa. Most importantly, this implementation will allow us to reduce our systems maintenance burden and unify all group accounting and reporting requirements.”

“AH Consulting convinced NSIA of the potential value that can be derived from integrating all the group applications onto a single platform, allowing reduced reporting times, faster transaction processing and support for timely decision making,” said Mr. Herbert Rwamibazi, the Managing Director of AH Consulting. “We are confident that NSIA has made the right choice in partnering with us to deliver Agresso for the Group.”
