28th January 2008 Pegasus Software, the provider of accounting and business software to UK SMEs, and now part of the Infor Group has launched Opera II Version 6 which will provide a new Document Management module and an Executive Dashboard module.
The document management module captures, and stores all documents centrally, including invoices, sales orders, timesheets, and supplier correspondence. It supports green initiatives says Pegasus through reducing the need for multiple paper copies and vast storage space, and allowing SME's to meet legislative and other data storage requirements.
The Executive Dashboard module provide a visually appealing, graphical representation of key business information in real-time, enabling business executives to access the right information to make better informed decisions. Accessed through an internet browser, to allow remote access, the dashboard can drill down into as much detail as is required says Pegasus – whether it is a chart depicting company expenditure or down to the document image such as a specific invoice.
