SAP launches next generation of SAP All-in-One solutions targeting mid-sized companies

SAP has launched the next version of its SAP All-in-One solutions, with what it says are significant enhancements to provide midsize companies with greater agility in managing their businesses based on mySAP ERP 2005 as a foundation. The new solutions says SAP are designed with a more intuitive user interface, roles based business scenarios, enhanced analytical reporting and integrated customer relationship management.

With the announcement, SAP has also introduced programs and tools to make it easier for its worldwide network of channel partners to use existing SAP All-in-One solutions to build new solutions to address additional industry segments.

SAP has around 9,000 midsize company customers, and promises them greater agility by building on mySAP ERP 2005 as a business process platform with more scalability and integration with third-party applications and existing systems environments. The solutions will also take advantage of the next wave of enhancements to SAP® Best Practices�a global portfolio of proven industry and cross-industry business scenarios and documentation.

SAP says it is going to improve user adoption and productivity, by offering significant enhancements in usability with a completely new, PC-like user interface and simplified navigation powered by the SAP NetWeaver® platform. This says SAP will provide role-based access to relevant user information, the ability to easily personalize applications, and easy-to-use help features.

The enhanced offering will also provide new reporting capabilities. Finally, CRM will be optimized for Midsize companies offering them better capabilities to target, acquire and maintain profitable customer relationships. Features highlighted by SAP include account and contact management, activity management, lead management, campaign management, opportunity management and service ticket management.
