Acuity Risk Management has announced a new release of STREAM Integrated Risk Manager, its free Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution. STREAM Version 2.0 provides users with better visibility and easier access to detailed GRC information, including a personalised Home Page providing summary status information, as well as ’one click’ navigation, email alerting, workflow and action management to plan and control GRC activities.
Acuity says that STREAM Version 2.0 is designed to make it easy to customise, configure and implement enterprise GRC solutions and provide actionable intelligence for business managers. The STREAM risk management software, with a range of pre-configured applications and training packs, can be downloaded free of charge for use on a single computer. This allows an organisation to develop specific GRC management systems, such as information risk, IT governance, health & safety, business continuity or environmental risk; or to pilot a complete integrated enterprise risk management solution that can be easily upgraded to the STREAM Enterprise edition.
“STREAM Version 2.0 takes GRC to a new level of risk visibility, control and ease of use across all business sectors where there is a need to demonstrate compliance, manage operational risk and provide business assurance,” says Simon Marvell, Partner at Acuity. “In addition to delivering improved risk and compliance efficiency, STREAM provides better targeting of resources, fewer business disruptions from incidents, non-compliances and failed audits, along with greater risk assurance and business reputation.”
The new STREAM V2.0 Home Page provides instant ‘at a glance’ visibility of the status of each user’s risks, controls and events including incidents and near misses. Users can also see summary information on their personal schedules of actions, assessments and approvals, while a single-click will quickly take users to their personal GRC content.
STREAM V2.0 supports a continuous GRC improvement cycle where users are alerted as they are assigned ownership of risks, controls, incidents, near-misses and actions, or when they have been assigned controls to assess or approve. Actions can also be raised against risks, controls, incidents and near-misses and then cross-referred to each other, while action owners can easily view all of their actions from a single screen and report on status and schedules.
A free single-user (SU) version of STREAM Integrated Risk Manager V2.0 is available for download from the Acuity website http://www.acuityrm.com/.
