Mamut Software compliant with iXBRL filing using Forbes Accounts

20th August 2010

Mamut has teamed up with Forbes Computer Systems to allow small businesses to comply with iXBRL corporation tax computation filing requirements. As of 1 April 2011, companies will have to file their Corporation Tax computations and supporting accounts to HMRC electronically using iXBRL.

Forbes have developed an integration between their Accounts product and Mamut Business Software that allows users, or their accountants, to export a Mamut trial balance to Excel in a format that can be imported into Forbes Accounts. Once imported, relevant adjustments can be made in Forbes Accounts and the final statutory reports can be submitted to HMRC in iXBRL format.

Forbes says it was the first product to be accredited by HMRC for iXBRL accounts and computations and is ready for live filing.
