Goodman Jones adds document management to Twinfield accounting

Goodman Jones LLP, chartered accountants, says it is expanding its use of the Twinfield online accounting system to include an electronic document management module which automates invoice processing and delivers cost savings, increased efficiency and enhanced customer service.

Working in partnership with P2D, a document solutions specialist, Twinfield says it can offer a combination of invoice automation and e-invoicing to both accounting practices and small to medium businesses to process invoices automatically.

Philip Woodgate, partner at Goodman Jones, says, “As a business we have been looking for a document recognition system that will convert our paper documents into electronic data and streamline our invoice processes for some time. In this day and age, these manual processes are inefficient, eating up time which could be better spent by staff utilising their skills elsewhere in the business.”

Woodgate adds, “As we were already using the Twinfield solution it made sense to discuss an electronic document management module with them to see what the team could suggest. Thankfully, they were able to work with P2D in order to offer us an additional module whereby all invoices will be automatically processed into our existing Twinfield system.”

Woodgate concludes, “As well as the obvious time savings that this automation will bring, we are also able to offer our clients an added value service, by enabling them to view all their scanned invoices quickly and simply at the click of a button. For entrepreneurs and SMEs we can now provide them with easy access to their documents and give a complete business overview that wasn’t possible before.”
