Mamut has announced it will provide all its customers with a Mamut Standard VAT rate update tool to enable them to automatically amend the VAT rate within their Mamut systems in time for the January 1 changeover date.
Bryan Richter, UK Country Manager, Mamut, said: “The return of the 17.5 % VAT rate is forecast to be an administrative headache for many businesses and retailers. By providing a VAT update tool we hope to help our customers avoid any teething problems that may occur with the rate change early in the New Year.”
Customers using Mamut Business Software version 12 (12.3.7454 or newly released 12.5) can download the Standard VAT rate update tool from http://www.mamut.com/uk/vat/ . Customers who are not on version 12.3.7454 or newer, will just need to update to the newest version from http://www.mamut.com/uk/update/ before running the VAT tool.
