Tiberone, has selected SAP Business ByDesign to streamline business processes, enable the organisation to become more efficient, and to provide a platform to support the company’s fast growth plans. The company which operates in the UK, Netherlands and United Arab Emirates, designs, delivers and supports solutions from software provider BMC. Until today, the company has been using Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sharepoint together with multiple Excel spreadsheets to manage their business.
Ben Chehraz, Commercial Director at Tiberone commented on the need for the company to invest in new technology; “As the company grew, we found it difficult to maintain visibility into what was happening across the organisation. Processes became disjointed meaning that getting one version of the truth was difficult. Although these processes and solutions have supported us until now, we know that we need a new platform for our business moving forward as the company continues to grow. We currently have 50 employees and have aggressive targets to double this by the end of 2012; therefore, it’s critical that we act quickly to get the systems in place to support this.”
“We did initially look at upgrading our existing systems but with the hardware on site, it was a big overhead and our experience from our existing systems showed that we spent too much time maintaining them. This lead to the decision to look at a Cloud based solution. Over the last two years we have been working with our own customers, helping them to exploit the benefits of the Cloud. We are aware of the normal concerns about security and availability but having reviewed this in detail, we felt extremely comfortable and knew that this was the best approach for us. The cost of ownership would also be much lower, which meant that we could invest in other areas of our business,” said Chehraz.
