The last couple of weeks has seen a rash of financial apps for mobile devices. This week I got a chance to look at a mobile app from CXO Solutions and to talk to their senior management team. This outfit has specialised in reporting on Oracle HFM and has now extended its reach to SAP BPC. It is an innovative company that is exploiting gaps in the market to good effect – the mobile app is just the latest. More than half of FSN readers now open their weekly newswire on a mobile device such as an iPad of iPhone. The use of mobile as a primary device for interacting with corporate data looks as though it is to become the norm.
