This week FSN writer Michael Coveney presents a challenge to strategic planning and takes a light hearted look to scoring the completeness of a strategic plan.   But beneath the surface there is serious intent. The reality is that many companies are not good at configuring a plan and even where a plan is in place the strategy often stumbles at the stage of communication.  In today’s economy there is no room for complacency.  No company can rely on market momentum to mask a poorly executed plan.  So take a few moments to read Michael’s article, try to honestly answer his questions and see whether you achieve a score of 11 points!

Also this week we take a deeper look at what Mamut has to offer existing users of Microsoft Office Accounting who may be considering an upgrade.  In an introductory video I take a look under the bonnet of Mamut and find a number of pleasant surprises which appears to confirm that Mamut provides a very good option for users seeking to move away from Microsoft Office Accounting.
