Financialforce.com and Bluewolf cloud consultancy announce global partnership

In a move reflecting the rapid coalescence of business in the cloud, FinancialForce.com, the cloud applications company and Bluewolf, a global consulting firm which describes itself as “born in the cloud”, have announced a strategic global partnership. According to Gary Simon, FSN’s managing editor, the partnership underlines the rapidly changing nature of cloud and the need for applications and increasing need for specialist consulting service providers who understand cloud dynamics.

Infor HMS will work to combine reservations, guest history, front office, and guest accounting functions, providing a centralized, unified look at guests and business performance to help Hotel Clarence and The Red Mill Inn boost revenues by selling more rooms at the best possible rate.

Is social collaboration in ERP and PSA set to move beyond the enterprise?

The idea that social media tools should be embedded within financial applications is slowing gaining acceptance though finance professionals remain sceptical.
